Denver snow puts on a show!

What! Ahhh...Snow is slippery! As I negotiate the footpaths of Denver COVERED in snow I reflect on the 'borrowed' image of Xmas we have in Oz. I couldn't stop taking photos when I arrived. REAL fur trees with snow laden branches and xmas lights amoungst snow look all the more beautiful.

Glad to be in my home in Colorado for the next year but quite inexperienced with snow. Everything takes three times I the time. Am learning that a SVU is our 4 wheel drive and Americans won't know what mean when I ask for the 'rubbish bin' - their 'trash can'. I've orientated myself to get downtown on the bus, buy groceries, post a letter, walk without slipping!
Was reminded today that I may be experiencing Altitude sickness because Denver sits at over 5300 feet. Told just to drink alotta water.
On the buses.... Seems a lot of people suffering mental illness? or do I not see it in Adelaide?
And TV ads for Drug companies! Everything from heart disease to erectile disfunction!
View of the Rocky mountains is awesome and I can't wait to get out there.
