Well... you are looking at a right side of the road driver! Today I celebrated getting the carpool (John, Wendy & James (Laura was elsewhere)) to school in one piece! You can see the excitement in my face and the relief in the others in the photo! I have been driving for two weeks now. Venturing out in little journeys. I experienced driving in the snow on the first day I drove to the carpool meeting place. I have a photo of the snow on my car before I scraped it off the windscreen!
Much appreciation to the cool car pool who have chauffered me every day for a month so I can eww and ahh at the mountain veiw sunrise.
My favourite event, apart from the usual of using the windscreen wipers to turn, is trying to clean the windscreen when the windsceen water had frozen... I poured some water from my water bottle over the screen and used my glove to wash it, only to find the water had turned to ice instantly! imagine the drip marks frozen in their step!! I got to use the ice scraper again....
You can also see that some of the snow in the school car park has melted! Yes we are officially melting. Yesterday it was 50(about 12 degree celcius)!!!! The city has had to employ a special snow melting truck at $200 an hour as the snow has been so overwhelming. You're telling me!
Enjoy the weather!
